Adult High school diploma serves adults who are pursuing
their high school diploma through an agreement of affiliation with Stanly
County School System. Twenty credits are required for students 18 and
older. For students between the ages of 16 and 17 the number of units
required is 28. Students must also pass the North Carolina Competency Test
before the diploma is awarded. SCC will provide information about this

adoption and reclaiming. Adoption charges are: dogs -$75; cats - $80. To
reclaim an animal, the charge is $50.00 if the dog/cat was picked up
8:30am-5:00pm Monday - Friday. If the dog/cat was picked up after hours,
on the weekend, or a holiday, the charge is $65.00. To reclaim animals
taken with a tranquilizing gun, the fee is $100.00. To reclaim an animal
after the owner has been contacted and a 24-hour period has passed -
reclaim fee plus $15.00 per day. The fee for animal bite containment is
$15.00/day. The fee for the full 10-day confinement is $150.00. |
