Medicaid Transportation Services

Medicaid Transportation is provided for anyone who receives “full” Medicaid. Limited Medicaid programs do not provide transportation services. Please contact (704) 986-2011 or (704) 986-2038 for more information.

How to Apply For Medicaid, Food and Nutrition Services and Energy Assistance:

Apply for services in-persson

•Fill out a paper application and fax, mail to, or drop it off at Stanly County Department of Social Services.

•Apply by phone: (704) 982-6100

•Apply in person at the Stanly County Department of Social Services:
Stanly County Commons, 1000 North First Street, Suite 2, Albemarle, during normal hours of operation. Normal hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm.
